Reiki Valentine Special

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a spiritual healing art from Japan, aligned with the natural flow of Universal Life Energy. In the early 1900s, Dr. Mikao Usui awakened to this healing current during deep meditation on Mt. Kurama in Kyoto. In its homeland, Reiki is known as Usui Shiki Ryoho—the Usui System of Natural Healing.

Reiki is the quiet intelligence of the Tao made luminous—pure, balanced life force flowing from the vastness of the Universe. It is often experienced as healing light or unconditional love, yet it moves beyond words. Because Reiki arises from perfect balance, it cannot be forced, depleted, or misused. It arrives in harmony, meeting each being exactly where they are.

During a session, the recipient rests fully clothed on a massage table, releasing the outer world as the inner currents settle. The practitioner becomes a clear vessel, allowing the energy to pass through without effort or intention. Nothing is imposed; nothing is withheld. The healing unfolds naturally, in the way most aligned for the moment.

Reiki gently dissolves tension, quiets the mind, and restores the body’s innate clarity and vitality. It is safe for all stages of life, from the newly born to the elder walking close to the mystery.
